About The Position

CACI is seeking a senior-level Enterprise IT Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure deployments and migration efforts that entail multiple virtualization technologies. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of hardware lifecycle projects within a complex, multi-site data center environment. The ideal candidate isn't just a "task tracker"— they possess deep technical fluency in high-density compute (Blade systems) and enterprise storage fabrics (Fiber Channel/NFS).

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing projects involving Blade Server Chassis (e.g., HPE Synergy, Cisco UCS, or Dell PowerEdge MX).
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise-grade storage (Pure Storage, NetApp, or HPE Alletra/Primera).
  • Solid understanding of Fiber Channel (FC) SAN zoning, fabric topology, and NFS file-based storage protocols.
  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere (and alternatives like Nutanix AHV or Hyper-V) as it relates to hardware-to-hypervisor handoffs.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT Project Management experience, with at least 5 years specifically in Data Center Infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing deployments involving 500+ physical/virtual nodes or multi-petabyte storage refreshes.
  • Ability to translate complex SAN/Blade technical hurdles into "Green/Yellow/Red" executive status reports.

  • PMP or Prince2 preferred
  • Technical certifications (VCP, HPE Master ASE, or NetApp NCDA) are a significant plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the physical and logical deployment of enterprise hardware across multiple on-premise data centers.
  • Manage the integration of HPE Synergy/Blade server technology with high-performance storage environments.
  • Lead projects involving Fiber Channel (FC) switching, Pure/NetApp/HPE Storage arrays, and NFS/IaaS workload provisioning.
  • Act as the primary interface between hardware vendors, data center facilities teams, and executive leadership.
  • Develop migration "wave" schedules that prioritize system resiliency and minimize downtime for mission-critical workloads.
