About The Position

The Enterprise IT Architect will demonstrate knowledge and expertise in artificial intelligence and application. This role requires extensive experience in designing distributed enterprise-level architecture for mission and business-critical systems, covering the full solution development lifecycle. The architect will also direct teams of professionals and develop technology solution requirements for customer requests for proposals. Experience in public and private sectors, particularly state government, is preferred. Strong communication and consensus-building skills are essential, as is experience in developing enterprise policies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years as an Enterprise/Solutions Architect or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in designing distributed enterprise-level architecture for mission and business-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated applied architectural methodology covering the full solution development lifecycle.
  • Strong system analysis skills, experienced across the complete project lifecycle.
  • Experience directing teams of architects, programmers, analysts, and testers.
  • Experience in public and private sector, preferably in state government.
  • Experienced developing technology solution requirements for customer requests for proposals.
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in developing and providing solution options and recommendations in an environment involving multiple datacenters: an in-house datacenter, co-lo datacenter, hosted datacenter, and Cloud datacenters including SaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate well with all levels of staff – executive management and both business and technical staff.
  • Experience developing consensus with disparate groups, sometimes with competing agenda.
  • Experience developing enterprise policies for management consideration.
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure Identity Management and Azure Security Best Practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and working knowledge of operations of the Superior Courts of California.
  • Prior experience working with Judicial Council or Court related infrastructure and technologies.
  • Experience with multiple cloud technologies and cloud vendors.
  • Experience developing cloud hosting requirements for organizations migrating to the cloud.
  • Experience with differing access control levels (ACL) per organization.
  • Certification in MS Azure.
  • Previous IT management experience.
  • Previous program and/or project management experience.
