Requirements

• Strong technical working knowledge of PTC Windchill architecture, business object models, data structures, and integration methods (REST APIs, InfoEngine, OData).
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, database connections (SQL, JDBC), and event-driven architectures.
• 3+ years of development experience with Windchill
• Learns quickly and adapts to new tools, processes, and environments with minimal guidance.
• Proactively identifies challenges and takes initiative to solve them without waiting for direction.
• Demonstrates strong ownership, following tasks through to completion and removing roadblocks independently.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of enterprise platforms that connect with Windchill
• Experience in Java, Python, or SQL for custom data transformations or advanced scripting when required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and deploy integration maps, APIs, and workflows to exchange data bi-directionally between PTC Windchill and downstream/upstream systems.
• Map complex PLM structures—including Part/BOM management, Change Objects (ECR/ECN), CAD structures, and documents—to external system schemas using Windchill native APIs and InfoEngine.
• Optimize integration flows for high volume, low latency, and operational resilience.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, memory/performance bottlenecks, and data transformation errors.
• Implement cross-domain traceability solutions to maintain data integrity and support audit requirements across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Manage integration deployments across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Maintain upgrade-tolerant interfaces during PLM platform updates.
• Translate business process requirements into clear technical specifications, data maps, and deployment documentation alongside Solution Architects and Functional Analysts.
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable integration flows connecting Windchill to critical enterprise platforms—including but not limited to ERP, MES, ALM, and legacy engineering databases.
• Leverage low-code/no-code modules to build API-driven data pipelines that enable seamless cross-system data synchronization, automated change management, and digital thread traceability.
