About The Position

The Enterprise Engineering Manager (EEM) is a strategic leader responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and customer success across Pregis' largest Enterprise Accounts. Serving as the primary technical and operational partner to customers, this role collaborates closely with engineering, operations, procurement, field service, category management, client success, and commercial teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions that improve customer outcomes, strengthen relationships, and accelerate profitable growth. Acting as a trusted advisor to customer and internal stakeholders, the EEM identifies operational gaps, improves throughput and reliability, and transforms business challenges into scalable solutions and growth opportunities. The EEM leads a team of engineers and project managers responsible for delivering strategic initiatives across the Enterprise portfolio. This role provides oversight of project governance, resource planning, milestone execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful customer implementations and consistent delivery against commitments. Success is measured through revenue growth, customer retention, operational improvements, solution adoption, and the effective execution of strategic initiatives that enhance customer value and drive long-term business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience required.
  • 8+ years of engineering, applications engineering, automation, packaging, manufacturing, distribution, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success supporting large Enterprise customers and multi-site operations.
  • Proven experience leading customer-facing engineering engagements, installations, trials, and operational improvement programs.
  • Experience developing solutions that drive measurable revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong engineering and systems-thinking mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and convert them into measurable growth.

Nice To Haves

  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience with packaging automation, material handling, fulfillment operations, or related industrial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary engineering advisor for Enterprise Accounts, building relationships with customer leadership across operations, engineering, procurement, and supply chain.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer performance, reduce costs, and expand Pregis' business.
  • Partner with Enterprise Account teams to develop growth strategies, business cases, and ROI-based solutions.
  • Collaborate across commercial, category management, client success, and operations teams to deliver customer value and drive retention.
  • Lead the development and deployment of protective packaging and automation solutions.
  • Manage project scope, resources, timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.
  • Support installations, commissioning, trials, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement through operational assessments, root-cause analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing engineering and project management team.
  • Support strategic planning, resource forecasting, capacity planning, and executive reporting.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus across the organization.
