About The Position

Marvin is seeking an Enterprise Commodity Agent to support enterprise-wide commodity strategies that balance cost, quality, delivery, and innovation. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day purchasing and ensure the supply base delivers the best total value across product collections. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and understands the impact of commodities on the business. This is an opportunity to grow a career in supply chain or purchasing with a supportive team.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills
• Understanding of material quality requirements, processes and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products
• Purchasing process and systems knowledge

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarks for enterprise commodities at the best total value regarding prices, delivery, quality, and other considerations (e.g., partnership, innovation, etc.)
• Work with product teams to drive best practices in day-to-day purchasing and strategic plans for assigned commodities
• Work with the commodity manager on feedback for strategic sourcing plan effectiveness, and alignment with overall business strategy
• Provide insight on the overall results from the supply base
• Enhance and develop technical knowledge of commodities and industries in which suppliers operate
