The Enterprise Architect (EA) plays a critical role in shaping the future of technology services for Maricopa County. This position offers the opportunity to help modernize and standardize enterprise platforms, influence strategic technology decisions, and build the foundational architecture that enables secure, reliable, and innovative services across the County. As part of the Enterprise Architecture practice, the EA will serve as the primary architecture lead for the Compute, Hosting, and Platform Services domain while collaborating across all enterprise architecture service areas. This role combines strategic planning, technical architecture, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure technology solutions align with business capabilities, operational needs, and long-term County priorities. The Enterprise Architect will work closely with Business Engagement Managers, infrastructure and operations teams, cybersecurity, portfolio management, application teams, and executive leadership to define architecture standards, guide modernization initiatives, improve service lifecycle management, and strengthen dependency and service mapping across the enterprise.
