The Enterprise Architect (EA) sits within the Office of the CIO. The EA is a strategic partner and advisor to the business and technology teams providing proactive and holistic help in achieving their targeted outcomes including optimizing costs, mitigating risks and improving sustainability. This includes influencing the introduction of new and/or emerging technologies and architectures as well as expansion of existing platforms in support of business challenges, and target outcomes. The enterprise architect's responsibilities include improving the current technology system architecture, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating information applications and programs. The enterprise architect is also responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organization's business and technology activities. To be successful as an enterprise architect, one needs to be proven leader with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, should have demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically, should have excellent technical, and analytical. You should also have strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
