Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an Enterprise Architect to provide Mission Segment Architecture support to HQ USEUCOM J6 Division in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is central to the detailed analysis and architectural design of new capabilities within USEUCOM. The Enterprise Architect will lead the design for large, multi-system capabilities and be responsible for translating high-level operational requirements into technically vetted and approved demands for our Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This team provides analytical support services to USEUCOM in order to document and evolve the physical infrastructure, systems, services, and logical information flows used by USEUCOM to conduct its assigned missions. These missions include Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD); Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3); Command and Control (C2); Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Logistics and Coalition Networks. This program provides critical Communications and Information Technology Services to support U.S. Africa Command, U.S. European Command, and associated organizations. This position requires OCONUS travel. This position requires an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance to be considered. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES As a key member of the J68 Architecture Branch, this candidate will operate as an Enterprise Architect with support to the USEUCOM SAFe framework. They will be responsible for turning high-level needs into executable plans. Lead End-to-End Architectural Design: Take the lead on large, complex capabilities that span multiple systems and ARTs (e.g., "MPE" or "Joint Function"). Define the end-to-end architecture and ensure different systems can be integrated seamlessly. Analyze incoming requirements for technical feasibility, alignment with the command's enterprise architecture, and strategic themes. Identify requests that require significant architectural design work. Work with stakeholders to develop the architectural vision and create necessary design artifacts, such as System-of-Systems Architecture Descriptions and Capability Design Documents. Technically vet high-level requirements to transform them into "Approved Demands" that are fully prepared for an Agile Release Train (ART) to execute during a Program Increment (PI). Work closely with the Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, System Architects, Capability Managers, and operational stakeholders to ensure the technical solution aligns with the C4/Cyber vision, program goals, and operational needs. Develop models detailing stages of mission execution (e.g., phases of the operation, critical data flows, decisions, stakeholders) to inform architectural design. Provide support to strategy development and policy formulation resulting from mission segment capabilities analyses. Assess service component architecture(s) as needed to support USEUCOM priority missions. Serve as a subject matter expert on architecture at USEUCOM meetings and planning events.
