About The Position

Tripoint Solutions is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support an upcoming federal government contract. The Enterprise Architect will provide strategic guidance, align IT solutions with mission objectives, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise architecture across complex government systems. This role requires a visionary technical leader capable of bridging business strategy, technology solutions, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting federal, state, or local government programs.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, FEAF).
  • Experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid IT environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, Zero Trust, and secure system design.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Experience in system integration, data architecture, and application portfolio management.
  • Familiarity with government compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, RMF).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or MBA with a focus on technology management.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF 9 Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar credentials.
  • Experience working in large-scale, complex IT environments within the professional, scientific, and technical services industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices to support continuous delivery and integration.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills demonstrated through successful cross-functional project leadership.
  • Experience leading enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, roadmaps, and reference models aligned with agency goals.
  • Analyze business, mission, and technical requirements to define architecture principles and standards.
  • Provide leadership in defining system, application, and infrastructure architectures.
  • Ensure integration and alignment of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions with enterprise goals.
  • Collaborate with program managers, stakeholders, engineers, and cybersecurity teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Define and enforce architecture governance processes and compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
  • Support modernization initiatives, digital transformation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams on architecture best practices.
  • Contribute to proposals, technical evaluations, and solution demonstrations as required.
