Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of Qualcomm’s enterprise technical and AI architecture practice, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and technological advancements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive enterprise strategies, overseeing architecture review boards, and driving business value through sound enterprise architecture practices and a deep understanding of AI strategy and the agentic AI ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of various enterprise architecture domains, including business, AI, technology, application, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud architecture. With a strong foundation in TOGAF and BIZBOK frameworks, along with extensive experience modeling in Archimate and UML, you will leverage your expertise to define best practices and execute responsibilities to mature the overall practice. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement will be key to your success in this role. As an experienced Enterprise Architect, you will bring several core elements to Qualcomm, including strategic vision and the ability to develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies that align with Qualcomm's business objectives and drive long-term success. You will have expertise in best practices for enterprise architecture review boards, ensuring architectural integrity and governance. Proficiency in conducting business value stream mapping exercises to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the strategic integration of AI and machine learning capabilities across our enterprise architecture. This role demands a unique blend of expertise in enterprise architecture, data science, and core technology capabilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assessing current AI/ML capabilities, defining target states, and orchestrating transformations that align with Qualcomm's business objectives and technological landscape. Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and design enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices, are also required. Additionally, providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects and other team members, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement, and leveraging experience to define and execute responsibilities are key components of the role. This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week).
