Enterprise Architect III / Cloud Migration Architect III
About The Position
Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified Enterprise Architect / Cloud Migration Architect III to work at its Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Alabama office. This position also serves as the on-site Project Manager and is part of the Program Support Team. The role involves designing enterprise technology and business process frameworks that provide secure, scalable architecture to support business process transformation and cloud migration. The selected candidate should communicate effectively in writing and verbally, have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and demonstrate innovation in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must hold and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Active Secret Clearance, which must be maintained.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- DoD 8140 Code 651 Advanced Qualifications.
- Project Management experience or capability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills in enterprise and solution architecture.
- Experience or skills in current-state and target-state analysis, DoDAF views, application dependency mapping, cloud migration wave planning and disposition analysis, AWS/Azure Cloud One, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Helm, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), HA/DR and rollback design, Zero Trust and RMF integration, data and interface migration, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise technology and business process frameworks that support business process transformation and cloud migration.
- Develop secure, scalable architecture.
- Perform current-state and target-state analysis.
- Create fit-for-purpose DoDAF views.
- Map application dependencies and plan cloud migration waves and disposition analysis.
- Design high availability, disaster recovery, and rollback approaches.
- Integrate Zero Trust and RMF.
- Support data and interface migration.
- Optimize costs.
- Serve as the on-site Project Manager.
