Enterprise Applications Analyst I

Century Communities, Inc.Greenwood Village, CO
$70,000 - $100,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Enterprise Applications Analyst I helps administer and support Century Communities' core business systems, split between our HRIS platform (Rippling) and our broader portfolio of enterprise applications. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders across our approximately 1,600-person organization to keep everyday system configuration, data integrity, user support, and reporting running smoothly. Because changes to these systems can affect employees and business operations org-wide, this role also follows disciplined change management practices to keep risk low and deployments predictable. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable balancing two sets of stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid position 3 days in the office 2 days remote.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy and system configuration.
  • A risk-conscious mindset when making system changes — testing thoroughly, documenting changes, communicating with affected stakeholders, and following approval/change control processes rather than making direct changes in production.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize across two platforms and stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort learning new software systems quickly; prior exposure to an HRIS (e.g., Rippling, Workday, ADP, UKG, BambooHR) and/or ServiceNow or another ITSM tool is a plus but not required.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for supporting end users and documenting processes.
  • Approachable, service-minded approach when supporting end users and stakeholders, setting clear expectations, communicating proactively, and following through on commitments without overpromising outcomes or timelines.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality practices when handling sensitive employee data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing competing priorities across HR and IT.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in HRIS administration, IT systems administration/support, business systems analysis, or a related role. Recent graduates with relevant internship or coursework experience will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Rippling platform certification
  • ITIL Foundation certification

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Rippling's system structure - including organizational hierarchy, security roles/permissions, approval workflows, and integrations - and partner with HR to implement configuration change such as new departments, locations, and job codes, following change management practices for any change with downstream payroll or benefits impact.
  • Configure and troubleshoot onboarding/offboarding workflows, and support benefits and open enrollment configuration and testing.
  • Build routine HRIS reports and dashboards, audit data for accuracy, and support configuration and testing as Century rolls out new Rippling functionality.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for Rippling questions and tickets, escalating more complex issues as needed.
  • Support testing (including User Acceptance Testing) for platform updates, maintain clear documentation, and help train end users.
  • Provide day-to-day administration across Century's enterprise applications — and other assigned platforms (e.g., identity/access, e-signature, or collaboration tools) — such as user provisioning, basic configuration, and account setup.
  • Build and maintain simple catalog items, forms, and workflow updates, and monitor assigned ticket queues to triage and resolve requests according to established processes.
  • Support testing (including User Acceptance Testing) for platform updates, maintain clear documentation, and help train end users on supported systems.
  • Submit and track changes through Century's change management process — including risk assessment, peer/senior review, testing in non-production environments, and scheduled maintenance windows — to minimize disruption when modifying production systems.
  • Partner with the Manager, Enterprise Applications and senior team members on larger projects and escalations and stay current on platform features to suggest process improvements.
