Enterprise Analytics Consultant
About The Position
Supports executive leadership and Vice Presidents within the enterprise-wide analytic community, including Enterprise Analytics, Finance, and Strategy. Helps lead and coordinate major cross-functional analytics and governance initiatives in support of Sentara's top line strategic goals and Enterprise analytics divisional goals. Provides guidance across the analytic community around the development of key analytic models, dashboards, and strategic reporting, especially when cross-functional coordination is required. Takes a key role in developing and administering enterprise-level data governance functions. Preferred domain knowledge includes data exploration and visualization; statistical and non-statistical modeling and optimization for predictive and prescriptive analytics; analytic programming; database management, including master data management, data quality, ETL, SQL, Power BI visualization, storage processing, and cloud computing; healthcare electronic medical record, billing, imaging, productivity, and financial systems in ambulatory, acute, and post-acute settings; and business acumen in basic finance, accounting, operations, management, and marketing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of business acumen experience.
- EPIC certification or accreditation.
- At least 7 years of healthcare industry experience.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of statistical analysis experience.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- At least 5 years of analytics experience.
- Knowledge of data exploration and visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of statistical and non-statistical modeling and optimization for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Knowledge of analytic programming.
- Knowledge of database management, including master data management, data quality, ETL, SQL, Power BI, storage processing, and cloud computing.
- Knowledge of healthcare electronic medical record, billing, imaging, productivity, and financial systems in ambulatory, acute, and post-acute settings.
- Business knowledge in basic finance, accounting, operations, management, and marketing.
