About The Position

The Enterprise AI Portfolio Principal collaborates with business portfolio teams to align IT portfolio investments and demand, providing strategic advice and guidance to functional teams. This senior subject-matter expert integrates operational budgets, AI platform investments, enterprise AI capabilities, applied AI products, and innovation initiatives. The role advances portfolio-management practices and operating-model maturity, maintains traceability from strategy through funding, delivery, adoption, and outcomes, and advises leaders on portfolio choices and tradeoffs. The position leads portfolio investment planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in partnership with Enterprise AI, IT, and Segment Finance. It establishes business-case methods, financial models, scenario analyses, and value-realization frameworks, and aligns funding, workforce capacity, delivery commitments, and expected outcomes. It also governs demand intake and prioritization, balances work against available funding and capacity, and prepares executive dashboards, scorecards, and decision materials. The role monitors portfolio health and delivery performance across AI platforms, capabilities, and products without directly owning products or managing delivery teams. It identifies risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints; recommends mitigations; and connects investments to measurable business outcomes. It operates through expertise, facilitation, and influence rather than formal authority or direct people-management accountability. This position follows a hybrid schedule: three days per week in the office and the remaining days remotely. Candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a commutable distance from Louisville, Kentucky, or Chicago, Illinois. The role is full-time, with 40 scheduled weekly hours. The stated annual base-pay range is $142,300–$195,700, and the job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
