About The Position

The Enterprise AI Control Tower Owner is responsible for providing enterprise-wide visibility, governance coordination, cost transparency, and operational oversight across Hershey's AI ecosystem. This role serves as the central control tower for the organization's AI portfolio, maintaining the authoritative inventory of AI assets and agent identities, governing the registration and sanctioning process for new AI solutions, monitoring adoption and usage trends, and ensuring compliance with enterprise policies, governance requirements, and applicable AI regulations including the EU AI Act. The role owns the processes, reporting, and operational frameworks that answer critical enterprise questions such as: What AI assets exist? Who owns them? How are they being used? What do they cost? Are they compliant? While closely aligned with the Unified AI Governance workstream, this position functions as the operational interface between AI enablement teams, business stakeholders, Finance, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Governance functions. This position does not own AI product development, platform engineering, or business value chain. Instead, it provides the visibility, governance orchestration, scorecard reporting, cost attribution, risk management coordination, and inventory management capabilities necessary to enable responsible, scalable AI adoption across the enterprise. The role manages governance-related activities across multiple AI platforms, agents, copilots, and automation solutions while ensuring accurate reporting, accountability, and operational readiness. The position influences enterprise governance standards, supports leadership decision-making through executive reporting, and drives continuous improvement of AI governance and control processes.
