About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking an Enterprise AI and Emerging Technologies Leader. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology leaders to identify AI-enabled and emerging-technology opportunities aligned with business goals and strategic objectives. The leader will define and maintain the enterprise AI and emerging technology vision, principles, roadmap, and three-to-five-year target state. The position is responsible for establishing portfolio-level direction, prioritization frameworks, and value-tracking mechanisms for AI and emerging technology initiatives, ensuring they are clearly positioned, scoped, and architecturally aligned for effective delivery. The role also includes reviewing proposed solution approaches for alignment with enterprise architecture, data strategy, security, and long-term technology direction, developing reference architectures, standards, and guidance, and identifying gaps between current and target capabilities. Additionally, the leader will assess technologies in the context of organizational readiness, scalability, security, regulatory considerations, and cost, define evaluation criteria, guide proof-of-concept efforts, and provide strategic guidance on build-versus-buy considerations. Establishing and leading governance practices for AI and emerging technologies, including policy development, ethical use guidelines, regulatory alignment, and risk mitigation, is also a key aspect of this role. This is a hybrid remote position requiring a reasonable driving commute (1-2 hours) to the New Bremen, OH location. Relocation assistance is available.
