About The Position

Devil Mountain is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager who combines strong customer service with plant knowledge, organization, and attention to detail. In this role, you’ll manage customer needs from the initial inquiry and estimate through order fulfillment and final delivery. You’ll build relationships with customers, help them identify the right plant material for their projects, and work across Sales, Dispatch, Purchasing, Inventory, and Customer Service to make sure orders come together accurately and on time. This role goes beyond processing orders. You’ll anticipate customer needs, source special-order plant material, recommend alternatives when products aren’t available, and help solve problems along the way. You may also travel to supplier nurseries to review, locate, and tag quality plant material for customer needs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of plants, nursery products, or the landscape maintenance industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the nursery, landscape, or a related industry.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and business software systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or account management experience.
  • Experience with point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and provide responsive, professional service throughout the sales process.
  • Respond to customer questions, inventory inquiries, and estimate requests.
  • Prepare estimates and help customers select plant material that meets their project needs.
  • Recommend substitutions and alternatives when requested material is unavailable.
  • Manage customer orders from initial quote through completion and delivery coordination.
  • Research and source special-order plant material for customer orders and estimates.
  • Travel to supplier nurseries, as directed, to review, locate, and tag quality plant material.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of nursery inventory, plant performance, product mix, and product objectives.
  • Process sales orders, payments, and invoices accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch, Purchasing, Inventory, and other teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
  • Share customer feedback and opportunities for improvement with Sales, operations, and management.
  • Participate in physical inventories, sales meetings, marketing activities, customer events, trade events, and other company initiatives.
