About The Position

This position is for an existing vacancy. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply. Manages one or several larger accounts or acts as the account lead for a substantial part of a top account. Understands the customer’s IT and business objectives, priorities, requirements and challenges, and adds value by implementing HPE’s strategy. Drives business performance for all HPE BUs and manages the portfolio mix to optimize profitability of the account. Accountable for pipeline building; accountable for and supportive in deal closing and orchestrating the deal team. Builds and develops relevant customer relationship networks with key influencers and decision makers in IT and business. Develops and engages with the extended partner ecosystem to maximize HPE’s presence in the account. Constantly develops information technology industry knowledge to position HPE’s portfolio in the account. Orchestrates, engages, guides and provides feedback to the extended account team members. Acts as customer’s advocate inside HPE. Plans for accounts to deliver results through the financial year and beyond.

Requirements

  • Self Starter, Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, interface with diverse business customers.
  • University or Bachelor’s degree in applicable subject or equivalent technology background or experience.
  • Experienced in either the Telecom sector or other industry sectors with heavy adoption of Telecom solutions, as well as in Account management
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to evangelize both internally and to customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong interest in the Cloud, ICT, and Technology markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the assigned Tier 1 Telco account or several accounts.
  • Own the overall customer relationship and engagement strategy.
  • Develop new business contacts with prospective customers, cultivate C-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Interact with experts and middle-level managers within customers who contribute to their decision-making process.
  • Be responsible for representing HPE’s portfolio of products and services in a concise, relevant way that resonates with customers and highlights HPE’s key advantages
  • Lead cross-functional teams to facilitate deal progression.
  • Understand customer’s critical business priorities, challenges, and requirements to deliver tailored solutions focusing on driving value for the customer, while maximizing competitive share, revenue, and margin for HPE
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business that results in substantial incremental revenue and margins to HPE in addition to maintain and expand existing products
  • Identify competitive strengths to drive a purchase decision
  • Stay informed and adaptable to HPE’s ongoing product and service developments.
  • Independently work within clear guidelines and use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues.
  • Use analytical skills, functional knowledge, and practical experiences to contribute to problem-solving and process improvements
  • Responsible for achieving sales goals and managing forecast governance across HPE portfolio
