About The Position

Proof is a high-growth startup in the legal tech industry, founded in 2017, offering a best-in-class legal services platform used by thousands of law firms and property management companies. Our platform enables law firms and collections parties to access efficient, transparent, and accessible legal and document delivery services. We are seeking to double our business this year and are building a team to help us scale rapidly. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are eager to help build a future where legal services are readily accessible, affordable, and efficient. This role involves owning the post-contract relationship for Creditors' Rights accounts, managing the entire client lifecycle from onboarding and ramp-up to retention and growth. The firms managed file thousands of cases monthly across multiple states, run formal audit programs, and hold vendors to documented SLAs. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable with operational complexity, understanding client workflows, plaintiff clients, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of account management or client services experience in a B2B environment.
  • Strong organizational discipline to manage a multi-account book without dropping items, keep notes and CRM current, and close every open item.
  • Clear, direct communication skills, capable of writing status updates to Managing Partners and internal escalations to ops teams.
  • Proactive mindset to surface problems before they become crises and catch issues before the client does.
  • Comfort with operational complexity, regularly managing billing exceptions, filing delays, alt-service disputes, and e-filing issues.
  • Ability to learn new legal and regulatory frameworks quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with creditors’ rights law firms or in the broader law firm space, understanding their operations, decision-makers, and priorities.
  • Familiarity with service of process (service attempts, affidavit of service, e-filing, substituted service) or a demonstrated ability to become fluent within 60 days.
  • Prior experience with legal technology platforms, case management software, or process serving systems.
  • Exposure to compliance-driven client relationships with audit programs, vendor questionnaires, SLA reporting requirements, and formal review cadences.

Responsibilities

  • Take the handoff from the AE at contract signing and lead the firm through onboarding, defining state footprint, plaintiff client mix, reporting requirements, serve attempt rules, e-filing setup, and exception handling.
  • Set ramp milestones, volume targets, and reporting cadence with the firm in the first 30 days, documenting and sharing these internally.
  • Ensure the platform is configured to match what was sold, aligning the contract's terms with the system's functionality.
  • Identify and resolve onboarding blockers early, such as alt-service setup, e-filing registration, bulk upload format, or platform access, to prevent volume delays.
  • Partner with the Solutions Architect to ensure customer success.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for accounts, resolving issues raised by Managing Partners or Directors of Operations.
  • Maintain a regular communication cadence, including monthly reviews for core accounts and formal QBRs for enterprise accounts.
  • Monitor account health, including serve rate, filing SLA adherence, volume trends, open job aging, and complaint rate, proactively identifying negative trends.
  • Flag at-risk accounts early and escalate internally with sufficient detail for the team to act.
  • Find and develop expansion opportunities within the existing book of business, including new states, plaintiff clients, and service types.
  • Own the commercial conversation for expansion, identifying opportunities, proposing and negotiating expanded scope, and onboarding it.
  • Own renewal conversations, making the case for renewal and negotiating terms based on deep account knowledge.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the Proof platform, including its capabilities, limitations, configuration, and edge cases.
  • Understand the end-to-end service of process workflow: job creation, server assignment, attempt cadence, affidavit generation, e-filing, and billing.
  • Learn state-specific service of process rules for active jurisdictions, including valid service, filing SLAs, and alt-service options.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401k available
  • Work-from-home monthly stipend
  • Flexible time off (paid planned and sick time, and paid holidays)
  • Necessary equipment provided
