About The Position

GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up with offices in Paris, New York City, and Boston. The company has secured significant investment from notable figures like the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, and Docker's co-founder, Solomon Hykes, as well as top-tier American and European VC firms, raising its Series C in early 2026. GitGuardian specializes in helping enterprises mitigate credential-based breach risks by identifying secrets, prioritizing remediation, and preventing future exposures across code, systems, and AI. The platform is utilized by over 600,000 developers globally and is a tool for 50 of the Fortune 500 companies. This role is for a disciplined Enterprise Account Executive to manage and grow the DACH territory, with a primary focus on Switzerland. The position is ideal for individuals who excel at consistent execution, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the development of GitGuardian's European sales organization. The role operates within an international, highly technical EMEA Sales team, primarily conducting business in English, and reports to the Sales Manager for Northern Europe. Employment will be facilitated through an EOR partner in the territory.

Requirements

  • Professional speaking level of English & German.
  • Demonstrated success as an Enterprise Account Executive in a DevOps and/or AppSec environment.
  • At least 5 years of enterprise software or security sales experience.
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles including procurement, legal, and security review.
  • Experience selling into Security, Engineering, or IT leadership (Application Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Identity/IAM/NHI, or developer tooling is a strong plus).
  • Demonstrated quota achievement track record and the ability to build your pipeline from scratch in a new or emerging territory.
  • Mastery of enterprise sales fundamentals: discovery, multi-threading, mutual action plans, and commercial negotiation.
  • Strong communication skills: clear and credible with executive audiences.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
  • Proficiency with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC sales frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • French or Swiss German language skills.
  • Experience in cross-border or multi-region sales (international territory management).
  • A pre-existing network in AppSec, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or security teams within DACH.
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape: understanding of the AppSec buyer community and the importance of secrets sprawl and NHI governance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and build rapport with enterprise prospects through outbound hunting.
  • Run the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal close, with a strong hunter mentality.
  • Understand and demonstrate GitGuardian products to prospects and key stakeholders.
  • Engage high-level security professionals such as CISOs, CTOs, AppSec leads, and VPs of Engineering with tailored, credible messaging.
  • Build a structured pipeline using modern sales tools and a rigorous qualification methodology (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC).
  • Forecast responsibly and maintain strong pipeline discipline at every stage of the cycle.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and leadership to drive expansion within enterprise accounts over time.
