About The Position

Matillion is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their team. Matillion is the company behind Maia, the AI Data Automation platform, designed to address the exploding demand for data in the AI economy. Maia eliminates manual data engineering by combining expertise with agentic AI. Organizations like Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack are already leveraging Maia for business impact. Matillion has a global presence with teams in the UK, US, and India, and is looking for driven, curious, and energetic individuals who want to make a significant impact.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle sales experience in a complex technology solution-selling environment.
  • Consistently achieved and exceeded $1M+ ARR quotas.
  • Track record of sourcing and closing six-figure deals.
  • Skilled in sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Force Management, or Value Selling.
  • Experience navigating large enterprise software contracts and RFP processes.
  • Proven track record of independently sourcing, managing, developing, and onboarding new customers.
  • Demonstrated effective pipeline management.
  • Ability to quickly uncover a customer's technical challenges and translate them into a clear business value proposition for all levels of their organization.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire sales process, from generating pipeline to closing six-figure deals and managing enterprise customers.
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for the territory, collaborating with SDR, marketing, and channel partners to maximize new customer acquisition and retention.
  • Foster strong relationships with technology and consulting partners, educating them on the value of Matillion to create new business opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and solution architecture teams.
  • Maintain a growth mindset by continuously learning and applying new techniques to sharpen skills.
