About The Position

Seeking an ENT Physician to provide coverage from September 13th to September 21st and October 12th to October 19th. The physician will be on call for hospital consults from 5 PM to 8 AM on weekdays and will have 24-hour call on weekends, including 4 gratis hours. This role primarily involves covering general ENT cases, with no requirement to handle significant facial traumas. The physician will see approximately 16 patients per day in the clinic and may perform scheduled surgical cases in the OR. Patient calls and callbacks while on call are minimal. The physician must be able to treat both adult and pediatric patients. Support staff includes 1 RN, 2 LPNs, 2 registration specialists, and audiologists. The EMR system used is Epic. Credentialing typically takes 45 days but can be expedited to 3 weeks. Candidates must be either Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) or Board Certified. No pending malpractice cases or adverse background information.

• Must have IMLC or licensure.
• Must be able to provide coverage on the following dates: 9/13 - 9/21 and 10/12 - 10/19.

Responsibilities

• Provide "on call" coverage for hospital consults from 5 PM to 8 AM on weekdays.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage on weekends, including 4 gratis hours.
• Cover general ENT cases.
• See approximately 16 patients per day in clinic.
• Perform scheduled surgical cases in the OR as needed.
• Handle minimal patient calls and callbacks while on call.
• Treat both adult and pediatric patients.
