About The Position

The Enrollment Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for prospective PACE Georgia participants and their representatives, guiding them through the enrollment process from first inquiry through program entry. This role is responsible for gathering demographic, medical, insurance, and financial information to determine eligibility; coordinating assessments, documentation, and Medicaid application support; and ensuring all deadlines and program requirements are met. The Enrollment Specialist builds and maintains positive relationships with prospective participants, families, referral sources, and Medicaid contacts, while partnering closely with the Interdisciplinary Team to facilitate communication, scheduling, and care plan development. Additional responsibilities include representing PACE Georgia at community presentations, health fairs, and outreach events to promote the program as a vital community resource.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in related field.
  • One year of experience in case or care management, benefits administration, marketing, or sales experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
  • 1 year of knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and/or third party insurance.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple duties and functions related to daily operations and maintain excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform frequent detailed tasks and provide immediate service with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to change and be flexible with work priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive to expert proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Basic knowledge and experience with email and calendaring system.
  • Possesses a high degree of personal accountability, responsibility, and independent decision-making abilities with the skills to interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the organization.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.
  • Must be able to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or human services field preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM /EHR software systems necessary, experience preferred.
