Enrollment Management Specialist

University of South FloridaTampa, FL
$44,000 - $46,000Onsite

About The Position

This position typically reports to an Admissions Recruiter/Advisor or to a higher level administrator of an Admissions or Registration department, or other appropriate college or campus unit. This position may work with recent high school graduates, transfers from community colleges, or students entering specialized graduate programs, such as physical therapy, biomedical sciences, business, engineering, etc. Incumbents assigned to this position could also work with the graduation application and certification processes. This position may also work with individuals with disabilities to assist them through special processes, or with International students to assist them with immigration documents, admissions, and assignment to special advisors. The Enrollment Management Specialist performs a variety of administrative support functions that require knowledge of admissions/registration processes, and the ability to develop positive interactions with students, prospective students, and their parents. This position is more complex than the lower level Enrollment Management Assistant in that this position has much more interaction with the students and parents to provide in-depth information about enrollment procedures. The Assistant level is focused more on data entry and the processing of documents, as well as initial customer service. This Specialist position can be distinguished from the higher level Admissions Recruiter/Advisor in that external student recruitment is not a regular function of this position. The Specialist position is not regularly and customarily required to represent the university at high schools, community colleges, and other large venues within and outside the State of Florida. The University of South Florida is a top-ranked research university serving approximately 50,000 students from across the globe at campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg and USF Health. USF is a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU), a group that includes only the top 3% of universities in the U.S. With an all-time high of $750 million in research funding in 2025 and as a top 20 public university for producing U.S. patents, USF uses innovation to transform lives and shape a better future.
