Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of previous business analysis or system analysis experience in an operations environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts & information to non-Technical Stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Requirement writing experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Access and/or SQL query experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Enrollment Business Analyst is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of business requirements, business rules, and operational processes for the Enrollment department.
  • Documenting and analyzing business processes, policies, and creating actionable reports for plan leadership.
  • Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation.
  • Elicits, documents, analyzes, communicates, and validates requirements concerning member enrollment processes.
  • Develops recommendations for improving the efficiency and performance of processes.
  • Provides oversight for existing and new programs/initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Conducts root cause review of issues and recovery action steps.
  • Researches and coordinates responses to various reports and audits.
  • Analyzes the needs of the organization with the commitment to design and implement solutions that best support the needs of the business.
  • Perform data discovery and review for various departmental reporting and analysis.
