About The Position

The enrollment analyst is responsible for handling all aspects of enrollment for all lines of business. Prepare enrollment applications, disenrollments, cancellations, and eligibility changes for processing by downloading documents from HPMS, managing enrollment queues. Review, research, route and readdress return mail. Work with Customer Service to obtain updated mailing information for members. Processes PCP changes, and demographic changes. Processes HIPAA release requests. Review and research Medicare entitlement provide support by creating manual letters when needed. Any and all other responsibilities as delegated. This position will work closely with the IT staff, outside system programmers and new and existing clients to ensure all components of electronic enrollment are programmed appropriately in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Medicare regulations.
  • Experience in Managed Care Enrollment (MA, MAPD and PDP).
  • Must possess previous experience processing Medicare Advantage enrollment applications and generating letters.
  • Previous experience reviewing and analyzing statistical data to identify trends as well as potential problems/opportunities for improved service quality.
  • Experience in computer operations including troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to analyze statistical data and recognize problems or potential problems and take appropriate steps to resolve the problem.
  • Self-starter with the ability to recognize priorities and manage workload accordingly.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience working with CMS contracted vendors and systems, such as Retroactive Processing Contractor (RPC), Wipro, MARx, etc. is preferred.
  • preferably electronic data interchange experience.
