About The Position

Mater Private Hospital Redlands is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join their Casual Pool team. This role requires availability and flexibility, with a minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week across a 24/7 period. The position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working in different areas of the hospital. Mater Private Hospital Redlands, established in 2000, is the only private hospital facility in Redland Shire, offering a range of specialized surgical and medical services.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration (without restrictions)
• Minimum 12 months post-graduate nursing experience
• Experience working within an acute hospital environment
• Flexibility to perform in various wards and adapt to different teams and NUMs
• Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice
• Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of patient-centered nursing care.
• Support patients in activities of daily living.
• Assist in meeting basic human needs.
• Recognize and respond to normal and abnormal patient health and functional status.
• Perform ongoing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient health.
• Communicate with VMOs, Allied Health professionals, and team members within the unit.
