Enrolled Nurse - Outpatients
About The Position
Mater Hospital Springfield has an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our Outpatients team in a permanent part-time position (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week). Requirements
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, evidence-based nursing care within your scope of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
- A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and continuous professional development.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- A positive, adaptable approach with a willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities
- Deliver delegated nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Perform patient assessments and accurately communicate clinical findings
- Implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing interventions within your scope of practice
- Assist with patient education, discharge planning and health promotion activities
- Advocate for patients by supporting informed decision-making and compassionate care
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety and clinical documentation
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing service excellence
- Collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, allied health and administrative teams
- Participate in professional development, education and continuous learning opportunities
