About The Position

KIPP NYC is seeking passionate and dedicated teachers for the [2026-2027] academic year to join their network of public charter schools. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and educate students, fostering both academic and character development. This role involves teaching a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, engaging students in exciting ways, and committing to continuous professional growth as part of a collaborative team. Teachers will utilize data to inform instructional decisions, regularly assess student progress, and communicate results to families and colleagues. Providing individualized or small group instruction for students needing extra support is also a key responsibility. The position requires a "whatever it takes" spirit to ensure student success and modeling of school values in all interactions.

Requirements

  • New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area
  • Bachelor’s degree required
