About The Position

The Pre-School Enrichment Instructor will provide a unique experience in Art, Music, STEM, STEAM, and/or Languages. The Instructor will provide lessons to our pre-school students based upon themes that are both developmentally and age-appropriate to the students.

Requirements

Experience in teaching chosen Enrichment area, experience in participation in Enrichment area.
Proven successful experience working with children.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Friendly, patient, and attentive with strong communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple children with varying needs and energy levels.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Early childhood education preferred.
Working as part of a team atmosphere preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment.
Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Provide safe and appropriate materials for the student.
Organize and lead developmentally appropriate enrichment activities and lessons.
Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere among children, teaching the children how to use the supplies and care for supplies.
Work with the Pre-School teachers to support the classroom curriculum ideas and implementation.
Be part of Pre-school presentations or activities involving the Enrichment activities.
Communicate any concerns, behavioral issues, or incidents promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with supervisors and other staff to support child care program standards.
Clean and Sanitize toys, equipment, and supply areas regularly in compliance with health standards.
Monitor supply inventory and inform supervisor of needs.
Follow all facility policies, licensing regulations, and safety protocols if applicable.
