About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position for UND students only. The role involves evaluating student homework submissions for Statics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials courses, identifying academic integrity violations, recording assessments in Blackboard, and ensuring timely grading within a 2-3 day turnaround. Continued employment is contingent upon demonstrated proficiency and excellent performance.
Requirements
- Earned grade of B or better in the assigned course (Statics, Dynamics or Mechanics of Materials)
- Assigned course completed at University of North Dakota
- Junior or senior status within Civil or Mechanical Engineering program at the University of North Dakota
- Demonstrated capability to comprehend and analyze various problem-solving methodologies
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
- Must be a UND student
Responsibilities
- Evaluate student homework submissions using designated solutions
- Identify and highlight instances of academic integrity violations within homework assignments
- Precisely record homework assessments within Blackboard grade book
- Ensure expedited turnaround for homework evaluation, adhering to a 2-3 day timeline
- Maintain proficiency and excellent performance for continued employment
