About The Position

The Arlington Public Schools is seeking a licensed secondary English teacher beginning in the 2026-2027 school year at Arlington High School. As part of the AHS English Department, candidates will collaborate with fellow teachers in the department, special educators, administrators, and other staff as well as effectively communicate with parents and guardians at Arlington High School. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated ability to develop critical reading, writing and thinking skills into the curriculum. We value teachers who are attentive to issues of social justice and seek to integrate diverse perspectives in the curriculum. Candidates should have experience differentiating instruction for a wide array of student learning needs as well as knowledge of social emotional learning strategies.
