About The Position

EF Language Abroad is seeking dynamic, interactive, and energetic teachers to join their education team as part-time ESL teachers. This position requires in-person teaching at their campus. They are hiring for General English, Special Interest, and substitute positions. Curriculum, supplemental resources, and both initial and ongoing training are provided. EF offers ongoing professional development to its instructors in the field of English language teaching. The role involves teaching classes of 15-17 students of varying English proficiency from around the world, utilizing EF’s in-house curriculum and methodology to lead interactive and hands-on classes. Teachers are encouraged to add their own creativity to lesson plans to make learning engaging and fun. EF provides dedicated face-to-face and online training, and the Academic Team offers support for professional development and guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Enthusiastic, energetic and a natural leader in the classroom.
• Responsible, approachable and friendly.
• Highly organized, flexible and global minded.
• ESL or TEFL certified

Nice To Haves

• 3 months of experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting with 15+ students
• Special consideration given to candidates with CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or EFL training
• Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge a plus
