About The Position

Enid Public Schools (EPS) is seeking an English Teacher for Enid High School (EHS). EPS serves over 8,000 students in a supportive community of 50,000. The district has been recognized as a National District of Distinction for its community partnerships and has undergone significant renovations and construction, including new elementary schools and upgrades to classrooms, technology, and facilities for athletics and fine arts. EPS promotes innovative learning with technology such as iPads, Chromebooks, and SMART Boards, providing 1:1 devices for all students. The district also features a University Center offering dual credit and AP courses, potentially saving students significant college expenses. Early childhood education is supported through full-day Pre-K classes and an early childhood center. The district values its highly effective teaching staff and support team, who engage in Professional Learning Communities to enhance instruction and development. A strong public school foundation is complemented by a significant number of volunteers and private donations for special projects. EPS is currently in the third year of a dynamic three-year strategic plan.

Requirements
