The English/Humanities Teacher will primarily work with 9th and 10th graders at Twin Cities High School. This role involves collaborating with other humanities teachers (English, History, and Religion) to plan and implement intervention support within the regular classroom. The teacher will assist with data collection to assess intervention effectiveness, provide small-group or individualized intervention during daily 'Office Hours,' and participate in weekly Intervention Team meetings to analyze student data and plan next steps. The position requires a commitment to continuous learning in MTSS, intervention best practices, and the Science of Reading, with the ultimate goal of supporting struggling students in their initial high school years. This role is at a diverse, private Minneapolis High School.
