About The Position

For those still in the process of attaining certification, please know that the North Plainfield District is approved for participation in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program which may allow you to work in a full time role as you complete your final certification requirement.

Requirements

• New Jersey Teacher of English Certificate required
• Ability to successfully implement the district's reading and writing program
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility with a strong understanding of the NJ Student Learning Standards in the English Language Arts Classroom
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside the English Department
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents and the public
