About The Position

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time English & Social Studies Teacher to provide one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has helped students achieve their full potential through personalized instruction. We offer a nurturing, student-centered environment with 26 campuses across 11 states. Our unique teaching model allows educators to focus solely on teaching one student at a time, tailoring lessons to their individual needs and learning styles. We eliminate the need for lesson planning, parent conferences, and extensive grading, allowing teachers to concentrate on inspiring their students. We also provide professional development opportunities to support career growth.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or a related subject area.
Patience and empathy, with an understanding that every student learns differently.
A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with students.
Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
