About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time English & Social Studies Teacher to provide one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. This role focuses on tailoring lessons to individual student needs and learning styles, guiding students to mastery, and fostering academic success in a supportive, student-centered environment. The position offers a flexible schedule with no lesson planning, parent conferences, or extensive grading required, allowing teachers to concentrate on inspiring their students. Brightmont Academy has been helping students achieve their full potential through personalized instruction since 1999, with 26 campuses across 10 states.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, or Economics.
- Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns differently and commitment to supporting them.
- A genuine passion to share your subject with the next generation.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
