About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time English & Social Studies Teacher to focus on one-to-one instruction for students in grades 1-12. This role offers a flexible schedule with no lesson planning or outside work required, allowing teachers to concentrate on inspiring their students. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has provided personalized instruction in a nurturing, student-centered environment across 26 campuses in 11 states.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or a related field.
- Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns differently.
- A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with students.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

- A teaching certification
- Advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
Responsibilities
