About The Position

This position is a 0.5 FTE located at Nottingham Elementary School. The role requires a candidate who is eligible for Virginia licensure with an Elementary Education endorsement and English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification. A dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in the mentioned areas, knowledge of best instructional practices, the ability to integrate technology, and experience in educational and instructional leadership. The position also requires the ability to work effectively as a team member, flexibility, dependability, strong organizational skills, and a desire to work with a diverse community of learners. Familiarity with APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures is also important. Salary will be based on the FY2025-26 salary schedule. Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Elementary Education endorsement.
• English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
• Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas
• Knowledge of best instructional practices

• Experience in educational and instructional leadership
