About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Kenmore Middle School for SY27. The role involves implementing instructional programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, and maintaining accurate student records. The teacher will collaborate with various stakeholders, monitor student achievement, and participate in ongoing professional learning.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in English.
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities

- Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members.
