About The Position
Human Resources announces a 1.0 FTE English Learner Teacher vacancy located at Innovation Elementary School. This position requires a candidate who is passionate about working with a diverse community of learners and integrating technology into instruction. The role involves collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to the school's educational and instructional leadership.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Elementary Education endorsement.
- English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
- Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures for English learner students.
