About The Position

This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Montessori Public School of Arlington. The role requires a candidate with or eligible for Virginia licensure, an Elementary Education endorsement, and English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification. A dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred. The position involves teaching experience in the mentioned areas, knowledge of best instructional practices, the ability to integrate technology, and experience in educational and instructional leadership. The ideal candidate will work effectively as a team member, be flexible, dependable, and highly organized, with a desire to work with a diverse community of learners and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures is also desired. Salary will be based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Elementary Education endorsement.
• English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
• Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas

• Experience in educational and instructional leadership
