About The Position

Albert Lea High School is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher for grades 8-12. This is a full-time position with a start date of 08/11/2026. The position is open until filled. The ELL Teacher will be responsible for supporting students in their English language acquisition and academic success within the secondary school environment. The role involves fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, and utilizing research-based teaching strategies.

Requirements

• Must hold Minnesota teaching license in education or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Dedication to positive student, staff, and parent relationships.
• Demonstrate reflective research-based response to teaching and learning.

Nice To Haves

• English as a Second Language preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
