About The Position

The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for an English Language Learner (ELL) Tutor at Fairview High School/Middle School, up to 6 hours per day (student days), for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will provide academic support to ELL students in grades 6-12.

Requirements

• Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure
• Knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards and project-based personalized learning
• Well versed in evidence-based strategies
• Ability to coach one-on-one and in small groups

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to ELL students grades 6-12
• Collaborate with ELL teacher, grade-level teams, classroom teachers and support personnel to maintain consistency with student interventions
• Assist students in digital learning platform and current technology
• Coach one-on-one and in small groups to assist students with classroom assignments including vocabulary building and conversational confidence
• Develop and administer remediation programming
• Administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments to determine student progress and effectiveness and intervention strategies
