About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as an ELD Paraeducator through our partnership with Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD)! OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening! The English Language Development (ELD) Paraeducator enhances the ELD program by supporting and working with students and school staff to perform all duties with accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. The ELD Paraeducator will coordinate with the ELD supervisor and content area teachers in the delivery of English language and content instruction. This position supports ELL students in the acculturation process and assists with translation and interpretation materials. Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred The hourly ELD Paraeducator pay rate is $19 per hour 21 hours of paid time off (PTO) -prorated based on start date

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • Must have the ability to relate effectively with students, staff and public.
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI
  • TB Screening
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts

Nice To Haves

  • Two-years of post-secondary education (48 credits) or an Associates degree preferred.
  • Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred
  • Bilingual speaking skills in Spanish / English - preferred
