About The Position

The English Language Development (ELD) Teacher will be responsible for supporting English language learners at Whitney Ave Elementary School. This is a full-time, permanent position with a 1.0 FTE. The teacher will work within the framework of Calendar 2, which includes a 10-month work year, 186 days per year, 5 days per week, and a professional work day. Requirements

• Carry one of the following CTC documents/authorizations: CLAD, BCLAD, ELA1, or a credential in World Languages.

• Provide English Language Development instruction to students.

• Salary Schedule for Fully Credentialed Staff: $60,000 - $126,000/annually
• $5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions
• $2,000 annual stipends for the hard-to-staff positions of counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian
• $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees
• $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities
• $1,500 - $6,000 annual stipends for various "leadership" roles
