About The Position

Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is seeking an English/Language Arts Teacher for Burley Middle School for the 2026-27 School Year. Requirements

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach Language Arts at the middle school level (must include eligibility to teach Grades 7 and 8)
Knowledgeable in their content area and instructional practices
Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps
Prepared to engage with our Culturally Responsive Teaching model
