About The Position
Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is seeking an English/Language Arts Teacher for Burley Middle School for the 2026-27 school year only. Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach Language Arts at the middle school level (must include eligibility to teach Grades 7 and 8)
- Innovative, self-reflective, collaborative, knowledgeable in their content area and instructional practices, and are continually growing and improving
- Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps
- Prepared to engage with our Culturally Responsive Teaching model in support of our Equity Mission Statement
