About The Position
Grand River Academy is hiring an English Language Arts (ELA) and Math At-Risk Teacher for students in grades 3–6. The teacher provides instructional support and assessments for students who are below grade level and creates, manages, and participates in varied learning environments and activities in the applicable core content areas. Additional duties may be assigned. Grand River Academy is located in Livonia, Michigan, opened in 2014, and serves students from Young 5 through grade 8. The school describes its environment as safe and nurturing, with rigorous academic and moral expectations, strong family engagement, and access to curriculum, instructional tools, coaching, and development opportunities.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. National Heritage Academies will support the teacher through the alternative certification journey.
